2022 TRAINING CAMPS AND CLINICS
While we continues to be shaped by COVID -19, Junior Mavericks is dedicated to supporting youth sports through camps and clinic training programs. We have returned to a modified competitive racing schedule and we are grateful to be coaching in our local North San Diego community.
Sites for SPRING 2022 include Stagecoach Community Park in Carlsbad, Pacific Highlands Ranch Community Park in Carmel Valley, Encinitas Community Park and Diegueno Middle School.
Weekly training will be broken into groups at these reserved locations. Specific schedules based on groups & park availability will be emailed prior to first session. Required county check-in procedures and health screening will be in place. Contact Coach Robin with questions.

The USATF San Diego Imperial Region schedule continues to be impacted by COVID - please visit http://sandiego.usatf.org for updates, changes and news, or to register your athlete.
Junior Mavericks USATF Competitive Team
The goal of our competitive team program is to give youth athletes extensive training for competition in track and cross country as well as prepare for high school athletics. We compete at sanctioned USATF track and cross country meets throughout San Diego Imperial Region 15. Our three seasons develop runners with Spring/Summer focusing on track & field, and Fall focusing on cross country and winter on pre track season conditioning & fitness.
Our training helps youth athletes stay in great physical condition during off season of other sports. We have athletes from many other disciplines who train with us including soccer, baseball, tennis & golf. Your student doesn't have to join Jr. Mavericks as a top or experienced runner - we will help them develop their best potential!
We have runners who started with Jr. Mavericks and went on to run with top NCAA programs at Stanford, Oregon, BYU, UCLA and more! Being on the team gives students a chance to become a better individual athlete in general as well as in a team setting - we want to make a difference!
Registration is available on a rolling basis based on the season and typically opens a month or two before the season starts.
