Junior Mavericks Running Club is for boys and girls 7-17 years of age. Whether you want to introduce your elementary school athlete to the sport of running or help your middle school athlete stay fit and prepare for high school competition we're here to help you succeed. They may even train with us during high school! Our athletes have the opportunity to run in USATF competition for cross country in the fall or track & field in the spring.
Our training includes S.M.A.R.T.E.R. training which focuses on: Speed, Muscle, Aerobic, Race Pace, Technique, Enjoyment, Relaxation.

With 15+ years of coaching experience Coach Robin applies her personal knowledge to help each athlete reach their highest potential. Coach Robin is USATF Level 1 certified and is a former college athlete.
Coach Laura uses her expertise through years of training to help guide athletes to success. Coach Laura competes in the USATF Masters division and is a former college athlete.

Through Coach Robin's guidance, many of our athletes progress to exceptional high school careers which have resulted in college scholarships.
Work with coaches every session starting with dynamic stretching, then focusing on various strategies for racing, competing or just keeping in shape. Some athletes prefer to work out with the team for fun. We cater to USATF Junior Olympians as well as kids who prefer to have fun while staying fit! Some of our former athletes are NCAA college runners and they return every summer to work with our students. Working with these D1 athletes is priceless.
Whether it's fall cross country or spring track season, we put our training to the test by offering a variety of race opportunities throughout the season for our athletes. Our athletes are given the chance to qualify for USATF Junior Olympics at the National level. We also train for local community 5K races or all comers track meets.
